BIJBS has another evening of stellar jazz on the horizon. The son of jazz legends, Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Brown, Ray Brown, Jr. has pioneered his own path in the industry with a charismatic style, rich vocal quality and hip sense of time.

Ray shares a double bill with sophisticated and sassy jazz lady, Elena Welch. Elena hails from Chicago, Illinois where her musical roots in the blues have a strong foothold.

Trumpeter extraordinaire, Volcano Jr. Choy, will add his seasoned licks, fat sound and intricate harmonies.

The headliners are in very good hands with the hottest rhythm section on the island featuring Glen Goto – piano, Brian McCree – bass and Bruce David – drums.
